Mulberry was established in rural Somerset, England in 1971. After a debut collection of belts and chokers (the bags of the day) Mulberry became the darling of the fashion industry throughout the Seventies and Eighties, Britain's first lifestyle brand - popular at home and abroad for its quintessential English style and personality. A collection of quilted fishing bags, poacher bags and jackets inspired by the quirky country country pursuits of hunting, shooting and fishing put Mulberry on the fashion map: Le Style Anglais was born!

After this initial, idiosyncratic success , Mulberry continued to create season after season of iconic products and theames and the brand grew throughout the UK and internationally.
