BORSALINO

Borsalino have been producing hats in Alessandria, Italy for over 150 years, where they continue to produce among the most coveted gentleman's hats in the world. The dedication to traditional craftsmanship so celebrated by founder Giuseppe Borsalino in the nineteenth century can still clearly be seen today, with each hat painstakingly made by hand from the highest quality materials. An average of seven weeks work goes into making each hat, utilising hand-working processes that have been passed down from generation to generation of hat makers.

Paul Sperry was born into a Connecticut family with a long sea-faring tradition.An avid sailor and inventor, who almost lost his life to a slippery deck, Paul Sperry spent years and dozens of experiments trying to perfect a non-slip boat shoe.
One day, after watching his dog dart effortlessly across the ice, he carved grooves - like those on his dog's paws - into the bottom of a rubber sole. In that moment of inspiration, the world's first boat shoe was born. Every single member of the Cruising Club of America wrote to Mr. Sperry to request a pair of these remarkable new boat shoes. Nothing else kept sailors safe on deck.

It's hard to believe that Superga is well over 100 years old. Under the care and attention of Walter Martiny in 1911, the Superga factory began to produce shoes with vulcanized rubber soles. It was here, in Turin, Italy, the Classic Superga 2750 heritage style was born.After closing during the war, the Superga factory reopened with a mission to bring high quality footwear to the people of Italy. The 2750 became established as the people's shoe of Italy, and Superga increased its product line with technical sport shoes, rubber rain boots and a growing range of colours and styles.
